The Owner of this project, a tiny 1000 SF parcel, used it for parking and growing grapes in a redeveloping part of East Boston. Because of the tiny footprint, and the Boston zoning regulations which require on-site parking for new housing, the entire first floor is a garage except for a very small building lobby. The three bedrooms all have walk-out balconies, and over-sized windows, and there is a full-sized roof deck which overlooks the new Bremmen Street Park redevelopment. The project looks forward with fresh modernism while acknowledging its vernacular context of clapboard siding, painted wood trim and a variety of window styles.
